Mechanical Design Engineering, product development, risk and requirement management

Consulting

Supporting clients with mechanical design, development and execution

I focus on delivering simple, effective designs and helping projects land in the right balance between quality, time, and budget. I enjoy working closely with product owners and collaborating across disciplines like industrial design, electronics, software, and regulatory to make sure products are not just well‑designed, but also a good fit for the market.

I’m driven by curiosity and a constant desire to learn, which naturally means a lot of time spent with technology. My background ranges from traditional mechanics and manufacturing methods to system‑level work involving electronics, software, and safety. I’m comfortable moving between CAD, the lab, and system discussions, often using prototyping platforms, logging and testing data, and helping R&D teams navigate risk and requirement processes.

Projects

Gyroid mesh generator written in Python

Generates a mesh representing a Schoen gyroid, which is is an infinitely connected triply periodic minimal surface discovered by Alan Schoen in 1970.

The exiting thing with the gyroid is the high surface area and turbulent flow which makes it suitable for heat exchanger applications.

Currently, parametric CAD softwares aren't suitable to draw these kind of surfaces so they need to be created as mesh.

Home energy system simulation tool

This CLI python tool generates a PDF report of a simulated home energy system with PV and battery storage.

I built it for myself to make an educated decision weather to invest in PV+battery or not, and what the properties of that system should be.

A 3kWh/3kW 12VDC native DIY portable power station

A DIY 3kWh/3kW 12VDC native portable power station made for a camper van. It is power by four LiFePO4 280 Ah cells, have a BMS bypass with retained safety, modular design for on-the-road repairs.

ESPHome custom integration for Reg600 heat-pumps

External component for ESPHome enabling communication with Rego 6xx heat pump controllers.

I also made a small PCBA and ordered assembled.
